Job Summary:

As an Electronics Engineer at Bionichive, you will play a pivotal role in developing and advancing our cutting-edge robotic solution, SqUID. We are looking for a passionate and talented Electronics Engineer who will help us drive innovation, efficiency, and reliability in our automation technology.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and test electronic systems and components for SqUID.
• Conduct research to identify and evaluate new technologies and components that can enhance the performance of our robotic solution.
• Perform circuit design, schematic capture, evaluate PCB layout, and prototyping.
• Debug and troubleshoot electronic systems to ensure reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate electronic systems with software controls.
• Participate in the development and optimization of hardware components for SqUID, including motors, sensors and actuators, and communication modules.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our robotic technology through innovation and creativity.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in electronics engineering.
• Wiring harnesses definition.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in designing and developing electronic systems and components.
• Proficiency in circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout evaluation, and prototyping.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
• Familiarity with sensors, actuators, and communication protocols.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot electronic systems.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for innovation and a passion for robotics.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment.

Job Description:

• Participate in the development of the company robots.
• Be part of the process of adding or improving the capabilities of the robots. This will involve integrating or developing new algorithms, sensors, or mechanisms as needed.
• Take part in improving the software and development processes. It includes all stages of development, from requirements, and research to implementation.

Requirements:

• Experience with ROS. (ROS2 advantage)
• 5+ years’ experience in C++ software development
• Capacity to research, test, and integrate complex technologies/algorithms
• Experience with development in a Linux environment.
• Advantage: Experience in Computer Vision algorithms, Python-based prototyping
• Advantage: experience with Jetson platform
• Advantage: experience with SLAM-based navigation
• Advantage: experience with 3D sensors
• Advantage: implementation of deep-learning algorithms in the field of robotics
